Strongman Champions League is an elite global competition series founded in 2008 by Finnish promoter Ilkka Kinnunen and Dutch organizer Marcel Mostert. Initially partnered with the International Federation of Strength Athletes (IFSA), the league asserted its independence by December 2008 following IFSA's financial collapse, becoming a crucial unifying force in strongman by bringing together athletes from both the former IFSA circuit and those affiliated with World's Strongest Man.
