Silviu Urdea has competed professionally in strongman since 2017. He finished 10th at the 2019 World’s Strongest Man and 13th in the 2021 edition. Urdea set a personal best deadlift of 425kg at the 2020 Arnold Europe and won Romania’s Strongest Man in 2018 and 2020. He is known for his speed in the atlas stones, completing a 5-stone run (120–180kg) in 22.4 seconds at the 2021 Strongman Champions League.
