Active in strongman from 2010 to 2015, Chris Gearing competed at the highest levels in the UK and internationally. He finished 11th at the 2012 World’s Strongest Man and reached the finals of Britain’s Strongest Man multiple times, placing 3rd in 2012. Gearing deadlifted 400kg at the 2012 England’s Strongest Man and set a log press record of 185kg at the 2013 UK’s Strongest Man. He was particularly known for his strength in the atlas stones, consistently finishing among the top in this event at national competitions.
