Active in strongman from 2016 to 2023, David Nyström competed at the highest international level. He finished 10th at World’s Strongest Man 2020 and 7th in 2022. Nyström deadlifted 425kg at the 2021 Giants Live Manchester and set a Swedish log lift record with 192kg at Sweden’s Strongest Man 2019. He won Sweden’s Strongest Man in both 2019 and 2021, and was known for his speed and consistency in the atlas stones event.
