Active in strongman from 2016 to 2023, Rick van der Torre competed at the highest international level. He finished 10th at World’s Strongest Man 2020 and 7th in 2022. Van der Torre deadlifted 430kg at the 2021 Arnold Classic and set a personal best log press of 202kg at the 2022 Giants Live event. He won Holland’s Strongest Man in 2019 and is known for his speed in the atlas stones.
