Vladislav Alhazov has competed professionally in powerlifting and strongman since 2015. He finished 8th at the 2019 World’s Strongest Man and 12th in the 2021 edition. Alhazov set the equipped squat world record with 525 kg (1,157 lbs) at the 2018 WRPF World Championships. He is known for his exceptional squatting ability and also won the 2017 Russian Powerlifting Championships.
