Kostyantyn Ilin competed as a professional strongman from 2008 to 2013. He finished 8th at the 2011 World’s Strongest Man and 12th at the 2012 edition. Ilin won Ukraine’s Strongest Man in 2011 and 2012, and deadlifted 410 kg at the 2012 Arnold Europe. He was particularly known for his strong performances in the truck pull and atlas stones events.
