Manuel Angulo is a Chilean strongman who became the first representative of Chile and the first South American athlete to compete at the World’s Strongest Man. He competed in the 2022 World’s Strongest Man after being named as a replacement for Peiman Maheripourehir who withdrew due to visa issues. His most recent international contest prior to WSM was at the 2021 Official Strongman Games in Daytona, FL, where he competed in the Master’s Men Over 40 division but did not finish in the top 10. Angulo was active in strongman from 2021-2022.
