Rongo Keene, known as “The Warrior,” is an Australian strongman who was born in New Zealand and moved to Australia at age 18. He has been competing in strongman since 2016 and won his first major title, Australia’s Strongest Man, that same year. Keene made his World’s Strongest Man debut in 2018, competing in Group 4 where he finished 4th in his heat, failing to make the finals. His most significant recent victory came at the 2022 Magnús Ver Magnússon Strongman Classic in Iceland, which was his first major contest win since 2016 and he also won the World’s Strongest Man: Home Edition in 2020.
