Active in strongman competitions from 2016 to 2023, Alex Lungu consistently ranked among the top European athletes. He finished 10th at World’s Strongest Man 2019 and 7th in 2022. Lungu deadlifted 425kg at the 2021 Giants Live World Open and set a personal best log press of 202kg at the 2020 Romania Strongest Man. He won the 2019 Balkan Strongest Man title and is known for his speed in the atlas stones, completing a five-stone run in 18.4 seconds at the 2022 Strongman Champions League.
