Ari Gunnarsson is a distinguished Icelandic strongman competitor who’s strongman career spans from 2011 to 2021, during which he achieved significant national success. He secured the title of “Strongest Man in Iceland” twice, in 2018 and 2019, and won “Iceland’s Strongest Viking” in 2021. Notably, he has been a seven-time podium finisher in the “Iceland’s Strongest Man” competition, earning four second-place and three third-place finishes. Internationally, Gunnarsson represented Iceland in the World’s Strongest Man competitions in 2016 and 2017, placing third in his qualifying groups.
