Cheick Sanou, active in strongman competitions since 2015, is known for his explosive power and dynamic performances. He finished 8th at the 2021 World’s Strongest Man and 10th at the 2022 edition. Sanou set a world record by deadlifting 425 kg (937 lbs) at the 2022 Giants Live World Deadlift Championships. He is particularly recognized for his speed and strength in the log lift, having pressed 200 kg at the 2021 Arnold Classic Africa.
