Active in strongman from 2012 to 2020, Frankie Scheun represented South Africa at multiple international competitions. He competed at the World’s Strongest Man in 2016 and 2017, finishing 19th and 17th respectively. Scheun set a South African log lift record with 175kg at the 2017 Africa Strongest Man and deadlifted 400kg at the 2018 Arnold Africa. He won Africa’s Strongest Man in 2016 and 2018, and was known for his strength in the yoke carry and atlas stones events.
