Active in strongman competitions since 2017, Iskander Mominbekov has established himself with consistent international appearances. He finished 10th at World’s Strongest Man 2020 and 13th in 2022. Mominbekov set a personal best deadlift of 425kg at the 2021 Giants Live World Open and won the 2022 Central Asia’s Strongest Man title. He is particularly known for his speed and consistency in the atlas stones, completing a 5-stone run (120–180kg) in 23.4 seconds at the 2022 contest.
