Active in strongman from 2008 to 2014, Jimmy Laureys competed at the World’s Strongest Man, finishing 11th in 2010 and 13th in 2011. He won Belgium’s Strongest Man five times between 2008 and 2012. Laureys deadlifted 410 kg at the 2011 Strongman Champions League in Finland. He was particularly known for his strength in the truck pull and atlas stones events.
