Active in strongman from 1997 to 2003, Mark Philippi competed in multiple international events. He finished 7th at the 1998 World’s Strongest Man and 9th at WSM 1997. Philippi won America’s Strongest Man in 1997 and claimed victory at the 1997 World Muscle Power Classic. His best lifts include a 370 kg deadlift at the 1998 WSM and he was known for strong performances in the power stairs and super yoke events.
