Active in strongman from 2007 until his passing in 2013, Mike Jenkins quickly rose through the ranks of the sport. He finished 4th at the 2011 World’s Strongest Man and improved to 5th place in the 2012 edition. Jenkins won the 2012 Arnold Strongman Classic, where he pressed a 210 kg log and deadlifted 400 kg in competition. He was particularly known for his overhead pressing strength, setting a 215 kg log lift record at the 2012 Giants Live event.
