Active in strongman from 1994 to 2004, Raimonds Bergmanis competed in multiple international events. He finished 3rd at the 2002 World’s Strongest Man and placed 5th in both 1999 and 2003. Bergmanis set a log lift record of 190 kg at the 2003 World Log Lift Championships and deadlifted 380 kg at the 2001 World Strongman Cup. He won Latvia’s Strongest Man three times (1994, 1995, 1996) and was known for his exceptional performances in overhead pressing events.
