Romek Velt competed professionally in strongman from 2016 to 2023. He finished 7th at World’s Strongest Man 2020 and 10th in 2022. Velt deadlifted 435kg at the 2021 Giants Live World Open and set a personal record of 210kg in the log lift at the 2022 Arnold Europe. He won the 2019 Strongman Champions League Finland and is known for his speed in the atlas stones, completing a five-stone run in 18.4 seconds at the 2020 Europe’s Strongest Man.
