Stan Carradine was born and raised in Denver, Colorado in 1982 and got into heavy strength training through football and wrestling. He started competing in strongman in 2008, winning his weight division, and achieved his goal of becoming a professional by winning a pro qualifier in Shreveport, Louisiana in 2013. Carradine made his World’s Strongest Man debut in 2016, competing in Heat 4 where he finished 6th in his group, failing to advance to the finals. In 2014, he competed in his first professional show and finished 6th and has since competed internationally.
