Active in strongman from 1997 to 2006, Steve Kirit competed in multiple national and international events. He finished 8th at the 2003 World’s Strongest Man and 10th in 2004. Kirit won America’s Strongest Man in 2002 and set a personal best log press of 185 kg at the 2004 IFSA USA Championships. Known for his strength in the deadlift, he pulled 385 kg at the 2003 Arnold Strongman Classic.
