Active in strongman from 2003 to 2013, Josh Thigpen competed in multiple international events. He reached the finals at World’s Strongest Man three times, finishing 7th in 2007, 10th in 2009, and 12th in 2011. Thigpen set a personal best in the deadlift with 400 kg at the 2011 America’s Strongest Man, where he placed second overall. Known for his grip strength, he won the 2009 All-American Strongman Challenge and excelled in the Farmer’s Walk event.
