He won Britain’s Strongest Man in 2019 and has been a finalist at the World’s Strongest Man, placing 10th in 2020. Renowned for his exceptional static strength, Hicks set a British log lift record of 220 kg in 2020 and holds a personal best deadlift of 470 kg, achieved at the 2023 World Deadlift Championships.
