Shane Flowers is a British professional strongman and former international powerlifter from Weymouth, Dorset. Born on February 10, 1994, he transitioned to strongman during the COVID-19 lockdown, training with makeshift equipment like sandbags and scaffolding poles. After just eight months of training, he won England’s Strongest Man in 2021, marking a rapid ascent in the sport. Despite facing challenges, including injuries and personal hardships, Flowers achieved a 7th-place finish in his debut at the 2025 World’s Strongest Man final.
