Eythór Ingólfsson Melsteð is an Icelandic professional strongman who stands at 6’1″ (1.85 m) and weighs approximately 313 lbs (142 kg), he is known for his exceptional overhead strength and tenacity in competition. In 2018, he made a notable debut by placing second to Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson in Iceland’s Strongest Man competition. Melsteð has since secured two national titles as Iceland’s Strongest Viking and won the Strongest Man in Iceland competition in both 2020 and 2021 . Internationally, he reached the World’s Strongest Man finals in 2021 and 2022, finishing 10th and 9th respectively.
