Sigfús Þorgeir Fossdal is an Icelandic professional strongman born in 1983 who resides in Akureyri, Iceland, and has over 20 years of experience in strength athletics, competing in strongman, powerlifting, and bodybuilding. He competed at the Arnold Classic Professional Strongman Europe competition in 2017, finishing 8th place among the top ten strongest men in the world. Fossdal made his World’s Strongest Man debut in 2019, competing in Group 2, but his competition ended dramatically when he tore his right Achilles tendon.
