Stefán Sölvi Pétursson, born March 20, 1986, is an Icelandic strongman who won his first major strongman title at just 20 years old, becoming Iceland’s Strongest Viking in 2006. He won Iceland’s Strongest Man twice in 2009 and 2010, becoming only the third Icelander to win both the main national title and Iceland’s Strongest Viking. Pétursson was a World’s Strongest Man competitor five times (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2017), reaching the finals twice and achieving his best finish of 4th place in 2010 behind Žydrūnas Savickas, Brian Shaw, and Mikhail Koklyaev.
