Active in strongman and powerlifting from 2001 to 2010, Brian Siders is known for his exceptional bench press and total lifts. He finished 7th at the 2006 World’s Strongest Man and 10th in 2007. Siders set an equipped bench press record of 410 kg (903 lbs) and a total of 1,152.5 kg (2,541 lbs) at the 2004 IPF World Powerlifting Championships. He won the 2004 and 2005 IPF World Powerlifting Championships and was particularly strong in pressing events.
