Active in strongman from 2001 to 2011, Glenn Ross competed in multiple international events. He finished 6th at World’s Strongest Man in 2003 and 8th in 2005. Ross won UK’s Strongest Man five times (2004–2008) and claimed Ireland’s Strongest Man title seven times between 2001 and 2007. His lifting records include a 400 kg deadlift at the 2005 IFSA British Championships, and he was known for his exceptional performance in the truck pull event.
