Active in strongman from 2002 to 2007, Steve MacDonald competed at the highest level in several major events. He finished 9th at the 2006 World’s Strongest Man and participated in the 2007 contest as well. MacDonald set an American log lift record by pressing 186 kg (410 lbs) at the 2006 IFSA World Championships. He won the 2006 America’s Strongest Man and was known for his strength in overhead pressing events.
