Espen Aune competed professionally in strongman from 2009 to 2014. He won Norway’s Strongest Man in 2011 and placed 9th at the 2012 World’s Strongest Man. Aune set a personal deadlift record of 400 kg at the 2012 Norway Open. He was particularly known for his strong performances in the log press, achieving a 180 kg lift in national competition.
