Evgeny Markov has competed professionally in strongman since 2015. He finished 8th at the 2019 World’s Strongest Man and 12th in the 2021 edition. Markov deadlifted 440 kg at the 2020 Arnold Classic and won Russia’s Strongest Man in both 2018 and 2020. He is particularly known for his speed and consistency in the atlas stones event.
