Jon Olav Granli is a Norwegian strongman nicknamed “Grizzly” who started his athletic career in judo before transitioning to strongman. He competed in the 2016 World’s Strongest Man, finishing 5th place in Heat 2. His best finishes include winning Norway’s Strongest Man in 2017 and placing 3rd at the 2017 Giants Live Scandinavian Open. Granli was active in strongman from 2014-2018.
